She is a person on this earth who loves you, and will love you until the end of time. She will love you no matter if you deserve it or not.
When did you decide to love your mother?
You didn't.
She loved you before you were even born and loves you uncondtionally. You can't help but love her as a result of the "forever love" that she lavishes on you every single day.
Is there anything that you can do to make your mother stop loving you?
Only one.
But we tried that with Jesus...and it didn't turn out that well; he rose again and still loved us.
Christ died for us because he loved us. Christ loves us like a mother loves her child; unconditionally and without falter.
The least we can do is rejoice and praise him.
